Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger

Decay

Twenty people
In one room,
Clicking.

Exchanging a glance through
text,
Laughing out loud silently
On their phones.

Interconnected and totally apart,
They click, click, click.

A genuine smile for an age gone by – Hello to passersby fall softly into obsolescence.

A room full of people clicking:
Wonderfully disconnected.

  1. So truly sad. Social media is such a blessing but gives the illusion of being connected in friendship without any risk or cost….and thus missing out on being truly known as we know others.
